Lim Na Yeong, former Pristin member has shared her thoughts about disbandment.
The singer shared a message on Instagram on the 25th and said, "I'd like to thank Hi who have always supported me in my career and all those who have supported me and encouraged me. I'm really sorry to Hi and everyone now that I can't say hello as Pristin. I have left my nest, Pledis, after 8 years to prepare for a fresh start. I won't forget all the people who have supported me and I will be Lim Na Yeong who works harder step by step. I ask you to please cheer for the members of Pristin who have always been there for me. Just as there is a new beginning after an end, Pristin is over but please keep your eye on my new start."
Meanwhile, Pristin released news of disbandment on the 24th after their exclusive contracts with Pledis came to an end. Members Kyulkyung, Ye Hana and Sungyeon stayed with the label but the other 7 members Nayeong, Roa, Yuha, Eunwoo, Rena, Xiyeon, and Kyla terminated their contracts.
Pristin made their debut in March 2017 with their album 'Hi! Pristin' and their last release 'Schxxl Out' was released in August 2017. Their subunit Pristin V made its debut with album 'Live a V' in May 2018.
