Fantagio has provided an update on the status of Hello Venus and the members contracts.
Fantagio made the announcements on the 12th via their official Instagram and released the new profile photos and new stage names of the former group members.
Hello Venus' contracts expired in April and members Nara and Alice left the company. The four remaining members Lime, Yoo Young, Seo Yeong, and Yeoreum resigned with the agency and plan to pursue acting activities.
Member Lime who was loved for her refreshing and innocent yet sexy charisma will be changing her stage name to Chae Joo-hwa and will pursue acting activities.

Member Yoo Young will change her stage name to Lee Hwa Gyeom and will pursue activities as an actress as well. She will play an idol star "Ju Lin" in tvN's new series "When the Devil Calls Your Name" scheduled to air on the 31st.

Seo Yeong will pursue her passions as a musical actress using her real name Lee Seo-yeong. Seo Yeong who has been much loved for her fluttering charm in musical "Love in the Rain" and the 8th season of "Miri" will be cast as "Sunny" in the new musical as well as a new role in musical "Superman with the Moon."

Lastly, Yeoreum will begin full-fledged activities as an actress under the stage name Yoo Na Gyeol.

In addition to the update, the label stated, "We are very happy that Lee Hwa Gyeom, Chae Joo Hwa, Yoo Na Gyeol and Lee Seo Yeong chose to resign with our company. We will give them our full support on their new start with active schedules."
