Idol member Lee Min-woo (40) from group Shinhwa has been charged with sexually harassing two women at a drinking party.
A Gangnam Police Station official revealed Tuesday that "Minwoo has been booked on charges of sexual assault and is currently under investigation. Lee is suspected of forcibly molesting two women in their 20s who were sitting at a table next to their fellow entertainer colleagues at a bar in Sinsa-dong, Southern Seoul on the morning of April 29 and that he reportedly knew the 2 women."
One of the victims visited the nearby district college station at around 6:44am after the drinking party and reported that she had been sexually harassed by the singer. The victim alleged that "Lee grabbed her cheeks and forced a kiss on her." She also alleged that "he even touched some other body parts."
His agency Liveworks Company has released on official statement on the issue explaining that it was simply a "misunderstanding" which the involved parties have now cleared up.

Hello. This is Liveworks.
We would like to first bow down our heads in apology for the shocking news about our agency artist Min-woo today that must've disappointed many.
We spoke to Min-woo to figure out what happened and he revealed that it was a small misunderstanding at a drinking party with acquaintances at a bar. The parties involved have cleared up all misunderstandings and the other parties will be withdrawing their complaints with police.
Regardless of the truth, we're ashamed that such an issue arose and Min-woo is sincerely apologetic and is in deep reflection. We request that everyone please refrain from speculative reports since the involved parties have cleared up all the misunderstandings.
Again, we sincerely apologize for causing you concern."
