Hi Navernatics,
Thank you so much for your amazing feedback about the blog.
We received some questions about our curation process for translated content so this article is meant to address some of those questions as well as serve as a quick read for those curious on the subject.
Daily Naver is a blog focused on trending news in Korea so we focus mostly on articles that are trending on that particular day.
For example, for the past couple of days, reports have surfaced about Seungri and Yang Hyun Suk's alleged gambling abroad. Everyday, there's at least 3 or more articles posted on Naver or Nate on the subject. Based on daily buzz, we'll find the most commented and/or top ranked article on the subject and translate it for fans.

There's also another section on Naver that shares daily trending "keyword searches." For example, in the past couple days, the trending keyword has been "Yang Hyun Suk police" "Yang Hyun Suk gambling" "Yang Hyun Suk Seungri police" "YG raid" and so forth." Based on the trending keyword, we will find the top trending article from that day on the subject and translate that for fans.

Trending articles and key words searches will fluctuate daily so what's translated is based on what's trending at the moment the author pulls an article for translation. That's why at times we'll wait a few days before translating on a subject in order for the article to get enough "reactions" or "rankings" to avoid translating a "non-issue" for i-fans.
We try to limit our translations to articles posted on the platform within 1-3 days so that we can keep content current for readers.
