A lawyer has revealed possibility of a jail sentence for Yang Hyun Suk.
On an episode of KBS2's 'Entertainment Weekly' that aired Thursday, a lawyer that guested on the program stated, "In a gambling case, if you don't have a prior criminal record you won't be sentenced to prison. But in Yang Hyun Suk's case, since there's a possibility he's may be charged for embezzlement of company monies to fund his gambling we can't rule out the possibility of a jail sentence. This is because there are many instances of gambling with such high dollar values and at a much bigger scale."
Meanwhile, Seungri, who previously repeatedly denied gambling charges in March, reversed his position and admitted to gambling five months later. The reporter that broke the story at the time revealed contents of Seungri's katalk messages where Seungri stated, "I got 200 million."
The reporter guested on 'Entertainment Weekly' and said, "I remember talking to Seungri on the phone at the time. He vehemently denied the gambling accusations and allegations of mediating prostitution . He kept sighing and stated that he was being wrongly accused."
"But then the day after he was questioned on the 28th his lawyer revealed that Seungri had admitted to the gambling charges overseas."
