Just wanted to give a quick update regarding an issue we noticed recently regarding Disqus.
Several people notified us that their comments are "missing" from Disqus and upon further research, it appears that Disqus is creating duplicate comment threads. As such, when readers visit under "http://" vs "https://" protocols, Disqus will post their comments under a duplicate thread.
Please note that your comments are not deleted. They're merely under another duplicate thread of the same article. Depending on how you're accessing the blog, you'll see a different set of comments in the comment section.
We're aware of the issue and are currently working with an IT mutual to resolve it. We believe its related to the site's html code as this issue was prevalent in our prior theme as well.
If you run into any other issues interacting with the blog, please feel free to send us a message using the 'Contact Form' as we check our emails more frequently than we do the comment section.
Otherwise, we'll follow up with an update once the "duplicating" issue is fixed.
