Many are curious how investigations into Yang Hyun Suk will end.
The former YG Entertainment producer has been accused of all sorts of charges from prostitution mediation, tax evasion involving various establishments, and now intimidation of a witness.
Yang Hyun Suk was summoned for second round of investigations on the 9th and underwent 14 hours of investigations from 10:00am to 11:50pm regarding allegations of intimidating a witness 'A' who reported an alleged drug purchase in 2016 by former iKON member B.I.
Police are considering applying for an arrest warrant for Yang Hyun Suk but public opinion is negative due to a series of disappointments regarding previous charges brought against him that ended with empty indictments after months of investigations. Many netizens stated, "Yang Hyun Suk has been involved in all kinds of controversies but everytime he attends police investigations, the suspicions are concluded swiftly against the public's expectations. Only the charges are different, but the same pattern is repeated. Each time the police will say there's insufficient context, evidence or statements."
This time the public is hoping that the case will be resolved differently. Many are watching to see whether the investigation results will reduce the public's disappointment and trust especially after the disappointing conclusion into Seungri's 'Burning Sun' case.
