An elementary teacher in Ulsan is under controversy for giving an inappropriate assignment to students.
On the 27th, a post titled "Is the first grade elementary school teacher normal?" was shared on Nate's forum community Pann and the writer A introduced herself as a parent of a new elementary student in Ulsan.
A posted several photos along with the message, "there are many strange requests from this teacher but no one is raising the issue" and stated that her child's homeroom teacher asked parents last month to post selcas and self-introduction messages on a social media group chat due to school delays as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak.
At issue was the comments the teacher left on the student's photos and greetings. The teacher wrote, "I've fallen in love so quickly with all these charming princesses," "I thought there were only beautiful girls but handsome men too, please tell them I don't like little girls," "So many beautiful girls in my class," "I envy you guys" "so charming and sexy ○○."
A stated that she reported the comments to a national newspaper last month after the Ulsan Gangbuk Office of Education stated that "the homeroom teacher only made those comments to compliment the kids and get them excited for class and didn't intend for the comments to have any sexual connotations and would be careful to avoid such expressions in the future."
But then later the homeroom teacher gave students a strange homework assignment asking them to "wash their panties and upload the photos." The teacher stated that "this would give the students confidence and self-esteem."
Even though it was a weird assignment, parents still uploaded photos and videos of their kids washing their underwear and the teacher left comments such as, "such pretty underwear, don't be shy", "your pink underwear is so pretty" and more.
A reported the matter to the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education once again who responded to the allegations writing, "It seems that the homeroom teacher asked students to wash their underwear last weekend and used inappropriate expressions again. We will conduct an investigation and an audit if necessary before deciding whether to take disciplinary action."

- [+6,422, -20] This ba$tard is clearly a pedophile and a pervert. If he's not caught now he'll definitely cause more trouble later
- [+2,286, -12] He's clearly a pedo!! Suspend his teaching license and investigate the ba$tard. How the hell did he become a teacher in the first place??!
- [+1,647, -14] Omg I'm gonna throw up...he's disgusting! And he's an elementary teacher? If he's left alone all the female students will become victims. He's clearly a molester. I'm only saying this because I remember when I was in elementary and had a teacher Mr. Byun Tae-nam. He was always mean to us and would only hit us on the hands to make it harder to get proof if we ever reported him.
- [+1,580, -11] What?? wash their underwear? He needs to be investigated. I'm glad the kids didn't start school.
- [+958, -4] If this article is true I'm so relieved school is delayed because how else would they have outted this pedo?! I can't imagine unknowingly sending my kids to school to a teacher like that.
- [+571, -0] Saying their panties are "sexy" is just terrible but why would the parents upload that on YouTube in the first place?!
- [+150, -0] How does asking kids to wash their underwear equate to confidence and success? ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ How old is that teacher? I heard he taught first grade 8 times? ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ It would be easier if he would just admit it. Isn't he basically a pedo? ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹
