Two photos of a popular idol and actress were reportedly found on Cho Joo Bin's "Nth Room."
Police reportedly obtained photos of A, a popular female idol member A and famous actress B from Cho's cell phone during routine seizure search. In the photo, A and B are said to be making unique poses with their thumbs and pinkies up on their left hand, a signature pose that Cho demanded from various victims "slaves" in his chatroom.
Police believe he used the photos to show off and promote his chatroom and are planning to summon the two victims soon to investigate details of the alleged exploitation.
Police also secured molka of three cheerleaders from Cho's cell phone as well as statements from Cho Joo Bin that he approached a number of other famous celebrities. According to police, he tried to dig up personal information about idols from top girl groups C & D as well as hallyu actress E through alleged blackmail similar to JTBC President Son Seok Hee but failed. He was, however, able to obtain the info through his SNS personnel, a social service worker surnamed "Choi" who was also arrested by police.
Police official stated, "It appears that Cho Joo Bin targeted these celebrities because they had money. He believed that even if he scammed them they wouldn't reveal it."
