It's been confirmed that Cho Joo Bin (24) ran another chatroom besides "Nth Room."
According to reports on the 12th, Cho sent individual messages to high paying subscribers since November last year to join his "one-on-one" secret chatroom nicknamed "Human Market." This chatroom was exclusive to subscribers that deposited more than 1.5 million won in virtual currency "Monero." Cho tiered the pricing on his chatrooms to match the level of sex crimes.
Police found a conversation Cho had with a subscriber that had been invited to the exclusive chatroom. Cho explained, "Not all slaves (exploited women) photos/videos are available for sale. Only those that are exclusive to this chatroom. Choose a slave (victim) and ask for pricing through @bak***."
In addition, Cho plotted sex crimes offline and targeted victims based on requests made by subscribers.
Police are investigating whether requests made on "Human Market" chatroom led to actual crimes.
