Media outlet OSEN has re-examined Amy's past comments about Wheesung's drug abuse.
In April of last year, Amy revealed on her social media that a close male celebrity A was in the process of administering propofol and zolpidem. Amy wrote, "A is a friend I really liked and a person I was proud to call a friend. He's like a soulmate to me. All the propofol was with A. Same with the Zolpidem. You should never have done that to me. You betrayed me."
Netizens began speculating that A was Wheesung based on Amy's comments causing a huge controversy leading to Wheesung's concerts to be cancelled. Eventually Wheesung broke his silence and stated through his agency, "that he had already been cleared on charges of injecting propofol in 2013 during military service and found to be a normal doctor's prescription." Wheesung then released a recording questioning Amy for her comments causing public sentiment to turn on Amy who eventually apologized for her post.
But Wheesung is once again caught up in more drug abuse rumors with CCTV of alleged drug purchase revealed. He has also been found passed out for the second time at a hotel restroom and caught on CCTV conducting an ATM withdrawal.
A lot of attention is being paid to whether Wheesung breaks his silence again and unravels the turmoil surrounding him, or whether Amy will continue to expose him again.
