Afreeca BJ and YouTuber Yang Fang (real name Yang Eun-ji) is under controversy for fraud.

On the 27th, YouTuber Goo Jae yo-gun posted a video online accusing Yang Fang of committing an "eat and run" while trying to purchase a penthouse located in Dong-gu, Busan.

The YouTuber alleged that Yang Fang together with her parents decided to purchase an 80 pyeong penthouse with a market price of 1.08 billion won (~$882,000) in Dong-gu, Busan. Believing in Yang Fang's popularity, the landlord signed a contract with Yang Fang below market price at 1.01 billion won (~$825,000) with the agreement that she would pay the deposit at a later date, set at 10% of the contract amount.

However, three months later, Yang Fang purchased another apartment and refused to pay the promised deposit on previous apartment. The landlord who had believed in Yang Fang's word, did not sign a contract with anyone else and was defrauded out of his 110 million won (~$89,000) deposit.

When asked to fulfill the contract, Yang Fang shifted the responsibility to the landlord stating the contract was invalid because her parents never agreed to purchase the penthouse. This led to suspicions that Yang Fang had forged private documents using her parent's seal.

Meanwhile, Yang Fang is a YouTuber and Afreeca TV BJ with 2.56 million subscribers. She attracted many fans through videos shared about her family's daily lives.
