An actor A that starred in a movie about digital sex crimes revealed to be on trial.
According to SPOTV News, actor A was indicted on charges of violating the "Special Law on Punishment of Sex Crimes" and underwent trial in July last year for secretly filming sex scenes with a female model who he had met as "model casting team leader."
When asked about the allegations, A responded, "I have nothing to say as the case is under trial."
A's agency is reportedly unaware of the charges he's facing as he applied for leave from the company under the guise of "Corona crisis." A is said to have appeared as a victim in a movie about digital sex crimes further shocking the public and sparking outrage in online communities.
The film in question recently made headlines due to its similarities to Cho Joo Bin's "Nth Room" incident and netizens are trying to expose the actor's identity hoping he receives a heavy sentence in court.
Prosecutors have demanded a one year prison term for A and his sentencing hearing is scheduled for the 8th.
