Sex offender Son Jung Woo (24) is set to undergo his U.S repatriation review for child exploitation.

Son Jung-Woo ran the world's largest child molka site "Welcome to Video" on the Dark Web from July 2015 to March 2018 and was sentenced to a one year and 6 months prison sentence in Korea for distributing sexual exploitation videos of minors. He concluded his sentence on April 27th.

In the U.S, he was charged with nine crimes including distribution of child pornography but because of double jeopardy rule only charges relating to money laundering will be subject to screening at his repatriation review scheduled for the 19th at the Seoul High Court.

His father, Mr. Son, filed a three-page handwritten petition with the Seoul High Court and posted a petition on Blue House site on the 4th writing, "It's too harsh for my family and for him to be repatriated to the U.S. He won't be able to survive the harsh prison life in America.

He added, "My son didn't know the seriousness of his crime because he didn't go to school. It's not like he committed high crimes like robbery, murder or rape. How can I send him to get a death penalty there? Please prosecute his money laundering and other charges in Korea even if it'll be a harsher sentence."

  1. [+7,206, -31] You don't have to tell them to know the sentence would be half if tried in our country. Only in the Heavenly Kingdom of Korea is a charge worth life imprisonment elsewhere only getting one year and six months in prison. That's why they're asking to take him so that they can punish him properly ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
  2. [+3,386, -42] It's because you didn't raise him right that he sexually exploited infants and minors
  3. [+2,463, -22] Only a year and a half in prison for criminal ba$tard like that??? Ridiculous! He can't even reflect correctly if he's jailed for decades. I wonder if the U.S can just jail him in secret even if the sentence is shorter? His father is so shameless for putting up a petition like that...truly father and son.
  4. [+1,876, -43] I really hope he's repatriated to the U.S. The democratic party needs to repeal our weak laws so that criminals ba$tards like him get severely punished.
  5. [+1,411, -196] I'm surprised he doesn't want to go the U.S....that's a place you get free meals in prison and get a lot of love from the black prisoners. These days it's harder to even enter the U.S...congrats..
  6. [+445, -0] Even the judiciary is ashamed of the fact that the whole country wants him repatriated to the U.S because he won't be properly punished for his crimes in Korea. Did you even punish those 223 Korean users of that site? Do you think those 6 month old babies he exploited are living well? What about the Nth Room case? Would you have done anything if the public opinion hadn't called for it? That's why its called the Jung-gu Court. No principles or willingness to protect victim's rights.
  7. [+297, -1] The crazy part is in the first trial he got a suspended 2 year jail sentence for 3 years of probation...disgusting!
