YG Entertainment has confirmed that BLACKPINK's Lisa was scammed out of 1 billion won.
An official from YG confirmed the report to Newsen on the 2nd stating, "We found out through an internal investigation that Lisa was a victim of fraud by her former manager A."
"In accordance with Lisa's wishes as A was someone she trusted, we agreed to an amicable settlement and A will reimburse some of the money he stole. The rest of the money will be paid back through a repayment schedule and A has left the company."
"We apologize for causing concern to fans who love Lisa. We're very embarrassed by A's behavior for taking advantage of the trust of our artist. We feel responsible for management and supervision of our staff and we're working on measures to make sure such an unfortunate event doesn't happen ever again."
