In an exclusive report by Market News on the 2nd, Lisa was reportedly swindled out of 1 billion by her former manager A who she trusted and relied on since her rookie days. The members and the agency also trusted him just as strongly.
A reportedly swindled the money by exploiting his friendship with Lisa and convinced her to purchase real-estate. But he took that money and spent all of it on his gambling.
This was a difficult situation for Lisa as she didn't want the information to get out especially because she's didn't want the issue to affect her group's image and activities.
An official stated, "Lisa is a foreign member and has been in Korea alone since childhood. As a result, she's very vulnerable to such things. It's a pity that this is happening in the industry. It's a serious thing that can ruin her image as well as the agency's. The only thing Lisa could do was keep it inside even though it hurt her."
Her former manager A is said to have resigned.
