2AM's Lim Seulong is under investigation for causing a traffic accident.
According to the Western Police Station on the 4th, Seulong had a traffic accident on a road at Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul at 11:50 pm on the 1st.
In a call with Herald Pop, a Western Police official stated, "It is true that Seulong is being investigated by police for a car accident in which a jaywalking pedestrian was killed. He's is still under investigation for his negligence. We will conduct a reinforcement investigation in the future. He's currently being investigated on charges of violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning Traffic Accidents. We cannot disclose further details to the outside. Please understand."
Seulong reportedly hit a man in his 50s who was jaywalking on a crosswalk while driving an SUV on a rainy road. A was taken to a nearby hospital but eventually died.
Meanwhile, an official from his agency Jellyfish Entertainment took a cautious position in a statement to Herald Pop saying, "We are checking on the facts. We'll release a statement later."
