Hidden camera gagman found to have secretly filmed women in person at KBS restrooms and dressing rooms

A comedian surnamed "Park" has been found to have also secretly filmed women personally.  

On the 14th, Park attended first trial at Seoul Southern District Court for charges of installing hidden cameras in a women's restroom at KBS Research Center. 

According to the prosecution's indictment, Park filmed or attempted to film victims that defecated in the toilet or went to the restroom at KBS from October 2018 to April 2020 at least 32 times. He committed the same crime at least 15 times in May 2020. Investigative agencies were able to confirm that he illegally filmed women at least 47 times.

In addition, Park was found to have entered the women restrooms and dressing rooms in person and secretly filmed or attempted to film victims. Police found illegal footage in his storage media.

Park admitted all the charges in the trial and his lawyer told the court, "he's trying to apologize to the victims and come to an agreement."

Gagman Park voluntarily appeared at the police on June 1 after an illegal filming device in the form of a secondary battery was found at the women's restroom in the KBS 2TV's Research Center at 'Gag Concert' practice room on May 29. Yeongdeungpo Police arrested A on June 24 after securing evidence and sent him to the prosecution on June 30.

The next hearing is scheduled for Sept. 11.
