Idol trainer In Ji-woong has opened up about Red Velvet Irene's "gapjil" controversy.
On the 24th, In Jiwoong uploaded a video to his YouTube channel titled, "The difference between an exploding celebrity and a celebrity with a great story." In the video clip, the idol trainer stated, "Irene is in a serious controversy. It's not a lie even if Irene apologized."
He added, "Staff cannot easily disclose something like that even if they're in a difficult situation because they're afraid of losing their jobs. It's impossible for a stylist that has been in the industry for 15 years to have made up a story like that about being abused by Irene."
"I know a lot of people who are active on TV because I'm an idol trainer and dancer. Even back dancers have also gone through similar situations."
He then picked VIXX's Ken and TVXQ's Yunho as two idols with best attitudes that he's worked with.
He also introduced them as "idols that the staff also praise."
