Article: [BREAKING] Cho Doo-soon released after 12 years...moving to Ansan by private car

At 6:47 am on the 12th, Cho Doo-soon, a child rape criminal, was released from prison with an electronic anklet after completing 12 years in prison.
Immediately after release, Cho Doo-soon headed to Ansan, where his wife resides, using a vehicle provided by the Ministry of Justice. The Ministry of Justice explained that "he's subject to one-on-one supervisors and they have provided an official vehicle to prevent unexpected situations such as physical collisions with citizens in the process of him moving back to his residence."
When he arrives in Ansan, he plans to complete administrative procedures such as filing a notification of initiation of probation at the probation office, and then return to the house where his family resides.
According to court ruling, Cho Doo-soon's personal information will be released publicly for the next 5 years and he'll live with an electronic anklet for 7 years. In addition, he's assigned a probation officer and a home supervisory device has been installed at his address to check whether he leaves the home.
Ansan city has also installed over 247 new CCTV cameras and will add 20 more by the end of the year.
