Actor Bae Jin-woong is currently under investigation for alleged sexual assault.
According to an exclusive report by Kyunghyang, on December 23rd last year, Bae Jin-woong lured a hoobae [junior] actress A to a local villa in Gyeonggi that he had inherited from his father after encouraging A to come out for a drink with his acquaintances. A arrived at the location only to learn that there were no other acquaintances other than the actor.
Then Bae Jin-woong suddenly started making sexual jokes to A while taking off his pants and hugging her from behind. While trying to ward off his advances, A reportedly suffered wounds all over her body and across her chest.
A is currently undergoing psychiatric treatment after completing questioning and police plan to summon actor Bae Jin-woong on the 16th for further investigations.
