Article: The 2nd Nth room 'Alpes' (male idol objectification) controversy...national petition appears

On the 10th, a petition appeared on Cheong Wa Dae national petition site titled "Please strongly punish Alpes users who use underage male idols as sex dogs."
The petitioner wrote, "Alpes is sex crime culture that depicts perverted sexual relations or rape by using male idols as main characters in gay novels. Many male celebrities are already becoming sexual objects. Because of the nature of the idol industry, many of the victims are still minors in society and are being exposed to a cruel sexual violence culture. What's even more upsetting is the fact that these users know their actions are crimes but know agencies will not take action because they're consumers of idol content. Their attitudes of intimidating victims through abuse of consumer power is characteristic of power hungry type sex offenders from Nth Room. Please investigate and punish these users and come up with measures to regulate SNS so that these sex-crime novels targeting idols will not be distributed."
The petition is currently under review by the petition admin pending release to the petition listing.
Note: Alpes is a slang term for 'Real Person Slash' (RPS). Among these, 'Slash' means gay couple. Alpes refers to act of creating homosexual content using "real" male idol as main character.
