According to 'SBS 8 News' on the 4th, a former child actor A is under fire for blackmail. 

A, a former member of the National Equestrian Team, was accused of threatening his ex-girlfriend B by sending her pictures and videos secretly taken while they were dating. A sent his ex B a message asking her for money and threatened to release the photos and videos if she didn't comply.

A reportedly bullied B for a month by sending her the hidden camera nudes. He made a fuss in front of her house and threatened to send the nudes to her family and acquaintances. A admitted to sending the texts and nudes to B, but claimed "it was a joke." 

A stated, "We were just playing games with each other. If I really had bad intentions, would I send the nudes to her? I would've sent them to someone else. I went to her house because I wanted to continue our relationship."

In response, victim B even attempted suicide and appealed asking for such a person to be prevented from teaching young students. 

B has filed a lawsuit against A and police will summon A for questioning soon. 

In the meantime, A made his debut as a child actor and appeared on various movies and dramas. He's currently an instructor in Gyeonggi and teaches horse-riding to students.
