BTS' Jungkook and actress Lee Yoo-bi are caught up in an out-of-the-box dating rumor.
A YouTuber is raising suspicions that the two met in 2018 but recently began dating and revealed five main pieces of evidence.
First that Lee Yoo-bi is a fan of Jungkook and often posts the "purple" heart, a BTS symbol. Second is that Jungkook, who returned home from a schedule in the U.S and finished his self-quarantined posted the same emoji as Lee Yoo-bi. Third, is that the two were seen wearing couple sweatshirts and bracelets. Fourth is that Lee Yoo-bi chose a man with "pretty eyes" as her ideal type and stated that she likes "September", Jungkook's birthday month, the most. Lastly, that Jungkook's hyung (older brother) and Lee Yoo-bi's dongsaeng (younger brother) follow each other on SNS.
However, the "lovestargram" evidence raised for Jungkook's dating rumors is raising eyebrows as its only "circumstantial" and this particular YouTuber has spread rumors and gossip about other idols in the past to the extent hat V declared he would file a lawsuit himself.
Jungkook and Lee Yoo-bi have also expressed displeasure over the absurd dating rumors with both sides stating they're "absolutely not true."
Meanwhile, this is the second time a BTS member has been embroiled in dating rumors just this year alone. V was also caught up in dating rumors with chaebol heiress after he was spotted at an exhibition.
