New revelations have surfaced at Yang Hyun Suk's second trial.
On the 6th, the former YG Entertainment CEO attended his 2nd trial wearing a black suit over alleged threats of informant A (Han Seo-hee) for refusing drug investigations into former iKON's B.I (Hanbin, 25). Police officer A who served as a witness on the first trial attended second trial and revealed further testimony about alleged drug allegations against B.I during the first and second police investigations.
Officer A revealed during 2nd trial that after thinking again about his testimony from the 1st trial, there are parts he wanted to reverse.
A had previously testified that "he applied for an arrest warrant for Han Seo-hee and the prosecutor rejected (dismissed) it at the time. Because Han Seo-hee cooperated during investigations into B.I's alleged drug purchase so the investigation was conducted without detention." However he corrected the testimony and stated, "the part about dismissal of the arrest warrant was related to a different case. There were many drug-related cases at the time so I was confused."
In the cross examination that followed, Yang Hyun Suk's lawyer pointed out, "After the drug arrest, in the first and second investigations of Han Seo-hee, didn't you say Han Seo-hee said she supplied drugs to Kim Han-bin? There's no such thing written in your report?"
Officer A replied, "At the time, when I applied for an arrest warrant for Han Seo-hee, I wrote in the report that we conducted the interrogations separately for her other crimes so that's why her claims about Kim Han-bin weren't included in the 1st and 2nd reports. It's true that Han Seo-hee said she supplied Kim Han-bin drugs but she was hesitant to go on record as a drug informant because she said "they were very close." That's why there isn't much written about it."
Regarding the 3rd police investigation where Han Seo-hee attended summons with her lawyer, A revealed, "The atmosphere with her attorney during that investigation was not typical. Isn't the attorney usually there to assist the suspect? However, it didn't seem like her lawyer was protecting Han Seo-hee at all but rather seemed to protect Kim Han-bin. The lawyer never once allowed her to answer directly so I argued with him a few times. I found out later that Han Seo-hee became a whistleblower and revealed that the investigation was closed due to close relationship between police and YG."
He added, "Han Seo-hee contacted me and asked me to confirm to the reporter that she cried during the third investigation. Now that I think about it, she contacted me after she sent in her whistleblower report but I was completely unaware of it at the time. It was only after I was investigated for negligence that I found out she had reported it. That's when I became aware of Han Seo-hee's "two faced" nature."
"Her claims that the investigation was canceled because of police collusion with YG are not true."
When asked by Yang Hyun Suk's lawyer whether "he had ever been asked by anyone from YG to take out (delete) any written reports or not to investigate Kim Han-bin," he replied, "No" adding, "Kim Han-bin's case got delayed due to an urgent schedule."
After interrogations of witnesses from both sides, the judge asked for clarifications regarding text messages that Han Seo-hee allegedly sent to YG staff B after the first and second investigations. Han Seo-hee wrote, "Oppa, just got released after investigations. I did well right?"
He asked officer A, "Considering the fact that Han Seo-hee sent a message like that. Could she have just persevered (did not expose Kim Han-bin) and contacted YG staff B to ask if "she did well?"
A replied, "I heard she sent a message like that. I'm embarrassed about it too. I'm wondering why she told us all that about Kim Han-bin in the first place."
Han Seo-hee verbally testified to supplying drugs during first and second investigations however, after she was released, she reversed her statements that what she had previously revealed was "false." She later revealed in a whistleblower report that "she had been called into Yang Hyun Suk's 7th floor office at YG and ordered to reverse her statements. Yang Hyun Suk allegedly threatened her saying, "I can kill you off the entertainment industry."
Yang Hyun Suk has denied all charges saying "its true he met Han Seo-hee at his office but he never threatened or coerced her to reverse her statements."
Yang Hyun Suk's next trial is schedule for March 21 due to a change requested by the court.
Meanwhile, Han Seo-hee is currently in prison for injecting meth while on probation.
- [+273, -8] Yang pharmacy daughter..
- [+149, -11] Han Seo-hee is seriously scary ㄷㄷㄷ
- [+87, -23] This is why you can't believe words that come out of a druggie's mouthㅋㅋ
- [+70, -8] That thug Yang Hyun Suk is a strange one too..
- [+37, -1] Is what Han Seo-hee did important? The key here is whether YG and Yang Hyun Suk colluded with police to bury investigations. Why is Han Seo-hee getting dragged in again?
- [+33, -1] Even from before I've always gotten this eerie and bad feeling about him...from his eyes alone. He was CEO but he's constantly bringing up the same thing...there's definitely something there..
- [+25, -5] Not just Yang Hyun Suk, put in Big Bang too....the car accident murder... Burning Sun...B.I's drugs and all those druggies at YG... Choi Soon-sil connections...collusions with gangsters.. etc. YG isn't an "Entertainment" agency but a "Crime" agency and at its helm is the ultimate thug Yang Hyun Suk who's done everything possible. Let's make sure he's thrown in prison for at least 5 years ㅠㅠ.
- [+13, -0] Han Seo-hee doesn't seem to have brains of a normal person..
- [+8, -0] Ah, Seo Tai-ji must've suffered promoting with a trash ba$tard like him..
- [+6, -0] The police and judges in our country are all in the pockets on drug pharmacies like YG. That's why their punishments are always non-existent.
