Article: Criticisms of Song Ji-ah for "wearing fakes" has evolved into "online group lynching?"

YouTuber Freesia is currently suffering from malicious comments over "fakes" controversy.
Although she deserves the criticism for defrauding her millions of followers, there are concerns that growing attacks against her are gradually escalating to a form of "online lynching." Many are pointing out that the "clickbait" profit model of internet media that generates revenue through "stimulating" issues is to blame for the bandwagon criticism.
YouTuber Kang Yong-seok captured Freesia's bare-face from a program she appeared in and mocked her "make-up looks" causing controversy.
YouTuber Kim Yong-ho mentioned Freesia's father's "real" job that wasn't directly related to her "fakes" scandal and claimed he has an obligation to clarify claims that her father is a dentist. Kim Yong-ho revealed, "I want to give him a chance to tell the truth. If not, I'll share some of the tips I've received from informants about her father."
A pop culture critic Jung Deok-hyun revealed on the 26th, "It's clearly wrong of her to use fakes but because of noise caused by certain people, broadcasters, platforms, some media and "cyber warriors" who are more interested in making profits through clickbait, unfortunately she became their target."
A professor from Kyunghee University Law School stated, "There are a lot of programs where regular people appear in but it's difficult for them or agencies to provide protection through legal action. These things will continue happening in the future."
- [+5,518, -1,398] Freesia admitted, apologized and even halted activities, don't people think they've taken it too far? I don't understand why people are criticizing her to this level...I feel sorry for her, the hate against her really needs to stop now.
- [+2,335, -182] I have a feeling Kang Ye-won was behind all this, pulling the strings behind the back and hung her out to dry so she had to handle the apology and fall out on her own. Kang Ye-won needs to take responsibility as CEO and apologize. This is too big of a punishment to put on a choding, even if she was in the wrong.
- [+1,430, -118] Freesia didn't do things right either but people are jumping into this scandal to try to bury her and send her to her death. What is pissing off people to this level? She's on hiatus already, enough is enough.
- [+1,181, -273] Scammers need to pay the price for their crime. If we let this go then we'll become a country of scammers.
- [+618, -58] Kang Yong-seok and Kim Yong-ho .... ㅋㅋㅋ
- [+270, -21] She's the one that cosplayed as a gold spoon on her own and got into a scandal. What if the people she scammed never got to find out?
- [+261, -21] So is it Kimchi or pao cai? She hasn't clarified that yet..
- [+149, -12] But the media also needs to stop writing articles about her. If they keep posting articles, then they're the leader of criminals.
- [+50, -3] Mistakes and intentions are two different things. I don't agree with people witch-hunting her family but she's the one that chose fame and money and scammed people with fakes for it. Public criticism is her destiny.
- [+46, -1] The 'pao cai' controversy is a bigger scandal but it's getting buried because everyone is so focused on her fakes.
