Big Bang's Seungri (32) has pled guilty to all 'Burning Sun' charges.
According to a report by NoCut News on the 27th, the High Military Court of the Ministry of National Defense held an appeal hearing for Seungri who was accused of embezzlement and prostitution.
During the first trial, Seungri was sentenced to 3 years in prison, a fine of 1,156.9 million won, and was required to register his personal information for arranging prostitution for foreign investors and gambling at least 2 billion won abroad. He was immediately arrested at the time of sentencing in military court and his discharge from military service was also postponed.
However, he filed an appeal where his sentence has now been reduced to one year and six months. Seungri had denied all the charges by shaking his head during the first trial however, he admitted to all the charges during his appeals and expressed his intention to reflect.
Seungri told the court last year, "I had time to reflect on myself for the past 3 years and I promise to be reborn with this incident. I'm sorry for causing trouble to the public, fans, family, Big Bang and YG."
