BTS V is suspected of dissing his senior G-Dragon.
On the 2nd, V posted a picture of a withered daisy on his SNS without any captions. The photo didn't receive much attention when it was posted until the 23rd when V was embroiled in dating rumors with Blackpink's Jennie. This is because GD, who recently broke up with Jennie, uses daisies as a symbol.
GD uses the daisy flower as a logo and signature for his brand 'Peace Minus One' founded in 2016. He picked daisies as his favorite flower several times over the years and even used them on the poster for the new album released in March.
There are speculations circulating online that V's photo was a shot at GD. Some netizens responded, "It seems like he's comparing GD to a withered daisy..", "Is he saying GD is old?"
There are suspicions that GD also clapped back at V by changing his 'Peace Minus One' SNS profile picture to a "middle finger" on the 24th.
Meanwhile, V and Jennie are currently embroiled in dating scandal after a netizen shared a picture of the two riding in a car in Jeju Island. Some netizens shared that V also recently posted a photo in Jeju adding strength to the rumors and released various pictures from SNS of Jennie wearing similar Gentle Monster sunglasses she models as the woman in the photo.
YG and Big Hit are both remaining silent on the rumors and told media, "no comment."
