NMIXX Jinni (Choi Yoon-jin)'s sudden withdrawal from the group is causing shock.
On the 9th, JYP announced Jinni's departure from the group and termination of her exclusive contract stating, "Jinni, who has been with NMIXX is leaving her team and terminating her exclusive contract due to her personal circumstances. We apologize for causing concern to fans with this sudden news. NMIXX will continue as a 6-member group. We ask for your understanding and support for 6 members who will walk a new path towards their dreams with a more mature image."
Jinni's sudden withdrawal from the group is causing shock as she has been a JYP trainee for a long time since 2015. She recently made her debut in February 2022 with NMIXX and has been active for less than a year. She also performed with her group at '2022 MAMA Awards' in Japan on the 29th and took home an award as 'Favorite New Artist.' The group also planned to release their season greetings next year, therefore sudden withdrawal is causing embarrassment among fans and raising suspicion.
