Former YG CEO Yang Hyun Suk's comments to media are raising suspicion.
On the morning of the 22nd, Yang Hyun Suk was found 'not guilty' of retaliation threat charges against informant A (Han Seo-hee) due to lack of evidence. Kim Mo, former head of YG's management support office who was also charged with aiding and abetting Yang's crimes was also acquitted.
While standing in front of reporters after the trial, Yang Hyun Suk stated, "I would like to express my respect and gratitude to the judge's decision. I will do my best from my original position now."
Yang Hyun-suk and Yang Min-suk left YG Entertainment in June 2019 and at the time YG stated, "I thought that there should never be a situation where YG, it's entertainers, and fans are harmed because of me." Former iKON B.I's "drug charges" played a decisive role in his resignation as he was accused of trying to "cover up" his investigation by police.
After his comments that he's "going back to his original position", speculations are pouring out that Yang Hyun Suk is planning to return to YG Entertainment as the representative CEO.
