Police have secured over 10,000 pieces of evidence to prove Yoo Ah-in's "drug" charges.
According to police on the 14th, they worked for a long-time collecting undeniable evidence of Yoo Ah-in's drug use. The evidence alone amounts to 10,000 copies of material. Currently, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Drug Crime Investigation Unit is in the final stage of analyzing data obtained from search and seizure of Yoo Ah-in's officetels and investigations of related persons. The summons investigation is scheduled to be conducted in private next week.
In addition, police are confident in proving Yoo Ah-in's "drug charges" so they're not reviewing an application for an arrest warrant. This is why the summons investigation is belatedly known. If he denies the charges, then they will consider whether to apply for an arrest warrant.
Meanwhile, Yoo Ah-in was under search and seize for drug use immediately after arriving at Incheon Airport. Drug analysis of his urine and hairs came back positive for marijuana, cocaine, ketamine, and propofol causing shock. Since then, police have secured medical records from search and seize of plastic surgery hospitals in Gangnam and Yongsan and are currently analyzing his cell phones.
Police reportedly perfected evidence collection of his drug use so that Yoo Ah-in cannot escape.
Attention is being focused on what will happen during his investigation summons next week.
