Former entertainment reporter and YouTuber Lee Jin-ho has exposed Kim Sae-ron's true character.
On the 14th, Lee Jin-ho uploaded a video titled "Reality behind her café part-time job, Kim Sae-ron true wealth status."
Regarding her café part-timer pictures that are causing controversy, Lee Jin-ho revealed, "The company said she never worked there in the past. A celebrity friend who worked in a drama with Kim Sae-ron worked part-time at this branch. Kim Sae-ron came to play there one day. It seems to have been filmed at that time. But the store owner couldn't confirm when the controversial pictures were taken. Her actor friend also quit in September last year so the café is in an embarrassing situation."
Kim Sae-ron stated on November 3rd last year, "I'm working part-time due to living difficulties." Regarding her comments, Lee Jin-ho stated, "I don't understand why Kim Sae-ron posted those pictures. There was no need to upload pictures of her part-time jobs. She said she was suffering from living difficulties but the law firm she appointed is one of the top 10 law firms in Korea. That's why she's in a scandal right now over her "hardship" comments. In this situation, she unexpectedly posted pictures to prove that she's truly in hardships but it seems like she just uploaded them for the sake of it."
He added, "Kim Sae-ron had a drinking party at a famous BJ's house, the same month she had her drunk driving accident on May 18th last year. Did she truly self reflect? There's a question mark here."
He continued, "Celebrities like Kim Sae-ron who caused controversies should be penalized. If your profits are suddenly halted from your scandals and you have nothing saved up, of course you're going to suffer from living difficulties. This is why stores have suspended her contracts and are filing lawsuits for damages from Kim Sae-ron."
"Kim Sae-ron revealed her 2 billion dollar home and 3 foreign cars through past broadcasts. If she sold these, she'd have enough money to pay damages but the house isn't in Kim Sae-ron's name. Her foreign car is also a lease."
"So why did all these issues never come as a child actor but only as an adult? Well, actually there was one instance. When she was young, she got into a scandal after her alcohol and cigarette pictures got leaked. Prior to that, her mother was very thorough and took care of everything. However, after she became an adult, she became independent and lived separately from her mother so the reins were released. According to acquaintances who know Kim Sae-ron really well, she's the type that relieves stress with alcohol. That's why she had a drinking accident. Even after the accident, she still can't stop drinking."
Regarding Kim Sae-ron's true character and personality at the time of her activities, they stated, "It's hard to manage school classes while being a child actor. The filming set is also a tough environment. There's a hierarchy in ranks and order in place. We watched her grow in that environment so we figured living in society would be difficult in general. Kim Sae-ron is not someone that can work part-time because she's never had a social life at all."
Meanwhile, Kim Sae-ron's lawyer appealed for leniency over her drunk driving scandal in court on the 8th and stated, "She has been supporting her family as the family breadwinner. She's living in hardships from financial difficulties after paying damages."
Kim Sae-ron's sentencing hearing is scheduled for the 5th of next month.
