Jennie's drama gains historic title as "dirtiest" and "most debaucherous" film + Blackpink's "image" takes a hit in Korea

Blackpink Jennie's drama debut is continuing to cause controversy in Korea.

Following leaked clips of Jennie's character Dyanne, controversy over her "sex" acts with male dancers is continuing to grow. Viewers are sharing criticisms that Jennie's scene was used exhaustively to satisfy male-centered sexual fantasies. There's a growing and rather furious outrage that Jennie's global popularity was abused as a means to promote her work.

Time Magazine's Stephanie Zacharek wrote, "There hasn't been such a rude, disrespectful and dirty streak of sordid debauchery on TV since the 1980s."

Meanwhile 'The Idol' has only received a 9% out of 100% freshness rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a famous review site. Major foreign media outlets are also pointing out the drama's "misogynistic" descriptions. 

Now that the first episode has been released, viewers are pouring out negative reactions over Jennie's appearance on the drama. The dominant opinion is that the status of a global pop star was used for topicality of the drama. 

Attention is focused on whether Jennie will continue to be "used as a means to satisfy male sexual fantasies" in the upcoming episode of 'The Idol.'

She's a pretty face so should be content with just being the face and center of her group. And Jennie.. she's always had an erotic image but filming something like this is just making her look dirty.. no matter how different she might be in real life 임ㅜ
