BTS Suga has been caught in more lies.
On the 13th, Yonhap News TV released CCTV of Suga's drunk driving accident. In the footage, Suga is seen speeding an electric scooter on sidewalk in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul at around 11:10pm on 6th. Soon after, Suga crashes into a curb and falls over. The moment of the accident is captured on CCTV.
A little while later, riot police officers on patrol find Suga and request assistance from a nearby police station. Less than 10 minutes later, a patrol car arrives on scene and a breathalyzer test is conducted.
His blood alcohol content level is found to be 0.227%, indicating intoxication. This figure is far higher than the 0.08% for license revocation. If the blood alcohol exceeds 0.2%, the sentence is aggravated to 2-5 years in prison and a maximum fine of 20 million won.
But things got even worse.
It's known that when police found him, he stated "he only had one beer at the time and drive for a bit." Police were unable to properly investigate him because he too drunk so they conducted a breathalyzer test and sent him home. They did not confiscate the electric scooter Suga was driving.
Police have completed confirming route and distance Suga drove and are currently coordinating schedules with Suga to summon him for investigations.
Suga is currently serving as a social service worker. His discharge date is in June of next year.
