MBC reporter has revealed that Yang Hyun Suk texted him regarding the prostitution allegations.
Reporter Go Eun Sang revealed through YTN radio on the 26th that Yang Hyun Suk texted him the night MBC 'Straight' aired. Go Eun Sang said, "After 'Straight' aired, I received a text from Yang Hyun Suk. He said that he's struggling and going through a really difficult time. He said that he had submitted witness testimonies and other documents related to the allegations against him. He then told me that he knows the police will soon declare him innocent and close the prostitution case."
He continued, "I was shocked to see that text message. I knew how hard the police were working these days. Since the Burning Sun case broke, the police had given up their days off to investigate the case thoroughly. It made me think, "from whom would he have heard this from? How would he know that the police already plan to announce him innocent?"
In the meantime, Yang Hyun Suk was released from the Seoul District Police station after completing 9 hours of investigations. He didn't comment on any questions from reporters as he left the station in the early morning at 12:45am KST.
