Former F.T Island's Choi Jonghun and Burning Sun MD Kim have filed to appeal their sentences.

Choi Jonghun and MD Kim were sentenced for five years in prison for gang rapes at the sentencing hearing at the Seoul Central District Court on the 29th.

A total of five people including Jung Joon Young and Girls Generation Yuri's brother Kwon Hyuk Joon were found guilty for two instances of gang rapes in Hongcheon and Daegu in January and March 2016. The court found them guilty through evidences of chat logs and victims statements presented to court. According to reports, Choi Jonghun and Jung Joon Young stayed silent throughout the trials but burst into tears after sentencing.

Choi Jonghun and MD Kim filed an appeal with the Seoul Central District Court against their sentences through their lawyers on the 4th and 3rd, respectively.

Jung Joon Young has yet to appeal his sentence.
