A new post has been shared on Pann to clarify facts regarding (G)I-DLE's Miyeon alleged dating scandal with former YG Entertainment trainee and Mix N Match contestant Jung Jin-hyeong.
The post titled "the real facts about Miyeon" states:
1. Miyeon was an adult the summer of 2015 when she traveled overseas with her friend. She was 20 years old.
2. Neverland (G-IDLE's fandom) has never tried to gain fans by acting innocent. Fans love her because of her humorous character.
3. Male and female idols at YG being kept separate has always been a thing there. The clause wasn't added to their contracts because of Miyeon.
4. Miyeon took GED test.
5. The reason she left YG was because her debut was cancelled. She left on her own and went on a trip afterwards.
6. She wasn't even a trainee at the time. She wasn't signed to any agency. She was just going to vocal academy. We all have adult friends and we don't curse them for going on trips with their friends. Miyeon wasn't even a celebrity or a trainee at the time. The article that was shared was just plain wrong and written by an anti. Anyway, I'm writing this rebuttal based only on facts. I hope people will fix their misunderstandings. Let's not brainlessly react to articles without thinking about the real facts.
