Cho Joo Bin is claiming that there were no threats of r*pe or sexual assault on his chatroom.

According to a report by Money Today on the 15th, police are investigating allegations that Cho Joo Bin hired "off men", accomplices, that met up with women, raped them and filmed the acts for his high-priced chatroom with a subscription fee of 200,000-1,500,000 won. He advertised the "off men" position on his chatrooms stating, "you can have sex free of charge."

According to police, Cho instructed "off man" employee "Han" to meet up with a woman A (15). Han met up with the victim, raped her and filmed the act then delivered the video to Cho who sold it or distributed it on his Telegram chatroom. During investigations, Cho claimed, "It was just a trick to get her to show up. It wasn't rape because the victim worked for money." 

According to prosecution, Cho reportedly threatened the victim A to have sex with Han otherwise he was going to distribute her nude photos.

Legal experts stated, "whether or not Cho is found guilty will depend on whether police can secure objective evidence like telegram chat logs or secure statements from Cho. Otherwise, the possibility that Cho Joo Bin might be judged innocent is very high."
