A post shared on Nate's forum community Pann is creating headlines regarding (G)I-DLE's Miyeon.
The post alleges that Miyeon was kicked out of YG Entertainment for dating former YG trainee and Mix & Match contestant Jung Jin-hyeong.
Miyeon was 18 years old and a trainee at YG with BLACKPINK's Jennie and Jung Jin-hyeong was 14 years old and a minor when the two were spotted in several photos on an overseas trip to Japan. Jin-hyeong was also under controversy at the time after past photos of him drinking and smoking as a minor surfaced.
Shortly afterwards, Miyeon got kicked out of YG and transferred to Cube Entertainment where she made her debut as a member of (G)I-DLE.
According to the post, because of their dating scandal, dating bans were placed on YG idol contracts as evidenced by BLACKPINK Jisoo and Rose's testimonies on 'Radio Star' where the two revealed that they're banned from "drinking, driving, smoking, clubbing, dating, and plastic surgery."
