Leaked conversations that top idols A and B visited Itaewon Club are spreading online.
A witness shared on Twitter and online communities that A and B, members of popular idol groups visited a bar near Itaewon club in Yongsan-gu on April 25th. The witness revealed that A and B stayed at the bar the night of April 25th through early morning on the 26th. The bar they visited is about a 7 minute walk from the same club where 66th Coronavirus patient visited.
According to a transcript of a conversation bar staff on Twitter, the employee confirmed that the popular idol member A did visit the bar on that day with another idol B. The employee also stated that "A busked while wearing a mask at an alley near the bar and left after eating a pizza with friends."
However, there are suspicions that some of the fandom members threatened the bar employees and officials to bury the testimony. A netizen wrote, "The bar employee posted a video saying that it was a friend that saw A at the bar and was terrorized with malicious comments by A's fans to the point where he had to make his SNS private. The fandom also asked for all related keywords to be deleted from Twitter."
A's agency addressed the allegations writing, "We cannot confirm the visit because it's related to artist's private life." B's agency dismissed the controversy, stating "the testimonies were groundless."
In the meantime, all Itaewon clubs are currently under quarantine starting April 24th through June 6th due to growing community infections from a club in the area.
