Embassy officials confirmed to Yonhap news that the Twitter post was indeed correct and they've notified her agency YG Entertainment. The embassy explained that they had stepped in to offer assistance as Lisa is a Thai national working in Korea.
An official from YG addressed the reports with Yonhap News stating, "YG is doing their best for the safety and protection of artists and fans. We plan to collect and review the evidence and respond strongly without bias."
In the meantime, BLACKPINK is expected to make a comeback in June after a year and two months hiatus.
