Navy Seal-turned-YouTuber Lee Geun (38) is reportedly alive.
According to Chosun on the 15th, a government source revealed, "Captain Lee Geun went to Kyiv but felt like his life was threatened so he's now attempting to flee the city through the Polish border with 4 people. Lee and his party entered Kyiv earlier this month but as the situation worsened and the Russian offensive continued, he tried to re-enter Poland. However, due to opposition from Polish authorities, they're currently moored near the border."
The informant explained, "Poland is not accepting them because of the wartime situation and the fact that Lee and his party entered Ukraine without permission."
Meanwhile, Lee announced on his IG on the 7th that "he had entered Ukraine" and Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed it. On the 10th, Ministry filed a complaint against Lee and 3 of his companions for violating passport law and sanctions such as invalidating Lee Geun's passport have also been initiated.

This is quite different from his image on TV. I'm sure he would've written quite a novel of his "escapades" after he came back "alive"... he deserves to get insulted over this... live quietly from now on.

He clearly went there to make money for his YouTube and increase his subscriber count and views. I'm honestly in shock that he attempted to flee to Poland. It looks like he's not getting accepted in because his passport got invalidated, that's why he's stuck waiting at the border. He's trash and deserves all the criticism he's getting right now.
