Article: Jungmin's father, "who gave police video of my son playing in the water? He went snorkeling with A"

Police investigations into Son Jung-min's tragic death have stalled following new CCTV.
On the 28th, Jung-min's father took to his blog to share his disbelief and anger after police announced they have obtained video that refutes his testimony that "his son did not like playing in the water." Son believes police announced they have acquired a video of his son "snorkeling" to refute his testimony.
Mr. Son stated, "we are checking into the exact circumstances of how police obtained the water video. Who exactly gave police that video? I was worried this would happen because Jung-min went snorkeling with A abroad. That's why I asked A to address it first. The logic that because my son went snorkeling once he had the capability to venture into the dirty 13 degree water of the Han River at dawn is seriously a comedy."
"And how is the soil composition on my sons socks similar to the soil of a river bed 10m away? Does that make sense? The soil composition of the upper and lower streams of the river is different. He would've stepped in the riverbed whether he was dragged or walked on his own and drowned. I never once said he didn't step on the riverbed. But it's very suspicious how he even got into it. I just can't erase this nagging feeling that something went wrong there."

He added, "what's even more upsetting is finding out that A threw out not only his shoes but also his T-shirt from that day and there's no mention of that by police or whether investigations are being conducted. Is it because they're colluding together? Jung-min is someone that rarely went into the water so how could he just venture out into the dirty Han River at dawn on his own?"
A police official stated, "Based on the investigations conducted so far, there is no context related to suspicions raised about the defendant (A). We're currently investigating with all possibilities open. Please believe in us and watch."

- [+4,170, -88] This case is really important because it'll be the touchstone for the public to judge whether they can trust police. Jung-min's father just wants to know the truth about what happened to his son. Is that so difficult? It would be nice if they would release the CCTV so that the public can see in black and white how everything logically fits into the case. This is so frustrating!
- [+3,532, -92] Lets even say its the same thing with shoes...and T-shirt. The funny thing is police aren't even interested in investigating blood stains found on his jumper but are busy investigating IPs of YouTubers for spreading rumors. What about the public's right to know?
- [+2,513, -89] It's clear they it got from Jung-min's friend A...seeing as how police are protecting him right now, this seems to have gone past them liking him more.
- [+1,923, -120] Wow, what a nice classmate A is..
- [+996, -13] I have 25 years of swimming experience and even swim competitively and like water. Before corona, I would drink beer at Han River all the time with friends but I never once thought of going into Han River and at the crack of dawn at that..?
- [+903, -10] It's clear they got the video from A to refute testimony brought forth by Son Jun-min's family. Looks like the police are taking cues from A's sideã…‹ã…‹
