Police have arrested a male in his 20s for secretly filming his partner during sex.
A police official from Yangcheon Police Station revealed on the 10th, "we have booked a 28 yr old man A who illegally filmed himself having sex with a woman B on his cell phone without consent."
According to police, the incident took place at around 10:30pm on April 26th at A's house. This was the fourth time A and B had met in a friendly manner. A went out with B for makgeolli [Korean rice wine] and he invited her to his house afterwards. While having sex, A kept insisting the lights stay on stating that "men are visually sensitive therefore she should keep the lights on."
This made B suspicious so she began looking around the room and discovered a cellphone mounted on a shelf in his bedroom. She checked his cellphone and discovered that he had been recording them having sex.
At the time, A kept physically holding her down to keep her away from his phone so B immediately called police. Before police arrived, A kneeled down and begged B stating, "Please cancel the call. Please don't let the police come to my home."
Police were dispatched to his home after receiving the call and arrested A in the act. During investigations, it was revealed that A had two videos with 34 minutes of illegally filmed footage on his phone.
The victim B stated that she has yet to receive a proper apology from A.
