Judo Olympic star Wang Ki-chun (32) has been arrested by police for sexual assault of a minor.
On March 16, victim A filed a complaint with the Daegu Suseong Police Station and police plan to forward the case to prosecution next week after further investigation.
An official from Daegu Metropolitan Police Agency stated, "The arrest warrant was issued according to proper procedures. It's difficult to explain details on the case as it's under investigation."
Wang is a huge judo star in Korea and is well known for receiving silver medal in the men's 73kg division at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Wang retired from the team in 2016 after his team failed to win the Rio Games and became an Afreeca TV BJ and YouTuber.

In the meantime, Wang Ki-chun was previously booked by police in 2009 for alleged assault of a female friend, a 22yr old woman he was drinking with at a nightclub in Yongin, Gyeonggi.
