GFriend has announced sudden disbandment after 6 years.
On the 18th, Source Music conducted an exclusive interview with 10Asia and revealed, "our exclusive contract with GFriend will end on May 22nd. This means that members Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB and Umji will go on their own separate ways after official contract termination date of May 22nd, in 4 days.
According to Herald Pop, all content schedules for GFriend have been deleted. GFriend was set to release 'Special Clips' video on YouTube on the 18th, 'G-Post' content was also scheduled for upload to Source Music's official Naver post. Also, all their schedules on the 19th have been deleted.
